I think productivity is over rated and is a manifestation of the capitalist system. Where we are all producers and consumers. That dynamic leaves very little room or spaciousness for just being and even less space for community. We all have to create space in our lives for rest and for letting our minds wander to enhance creativity and connectivity. Isnt that what we teach our children. If we are always busy producing how can we understand what we are feeling? If we dont understand our own feelings, how can we understand someone elses? And if can understand what the other is feeling, how then do we find connection. Connection is the key to fighting the endemic of loneliness and depression. Connection and what makes us human and happy.
